About nearchon

nearchon is a personal science teacher for every student.

One that doesn’t just hand over answers, but teaches you how to think.

We built nearchon because most of what calls itself an “AI teacher” today isn’t teaching at all. Across the internet, chatbots dressed up as tutors do one thing: you ask, they answer, you copy. That’s passive learning. The student walks away with a solution and no understanding, and then fails the test wondering what went wrong.

We believe learning only happens when the student does the thinking. So nearchon flips it. You solve the problem by hand, step by step, just like on paper. nearchon reads every step you write, finds exactly where your reasoning broke, and teaches the concept underneath the mistake. It doesn’t check your answer, it checks your thinking. And it pushes until you get there yourself. That’s active learning, and it’s the difference between memorizing a solution and actually being able to solve the next one.

This is what a great 1:1 tutor does: sits beside you, watches how you work, catches the misconception before it hardens. That kind of attention has always been rare and expensive, available to a few. We’re making it available to everyone.

The bigger dream

Most people on this planet never get a proper education. Not because they aren’t capable, but because a world-class teacher was never in the room. That’s the problem we actually care about.

nearchon is the first step. Our long-term goal is to build the technology (software and hardware) that puts a world-class STEM education in the hands of every student on Earth, for free. No matter where they’re born, what they can afford, or who’s around to teach them. A great teacher for everyone, everywhere.

We’re starting with physics.
We’re not stopping there.
